| The Circle of Security is a program designed to support the development of a secure base on which to build an easy and supportive relationship between a caregiver and child. This relationship will help the caregiver acquire the ability to understand a child’s emotional world by learning to read their cues and support their ability to regulate feelings.
The “Intro to Circle of Security” is an engaging and reflective session for Educators, and they will begin to understand how their role of ‘being the hands on the circle’ enhances the attachment between caregiver and child. Educator’s will begin to look beyond a child’s immediate behaviour and think about how to meet their genuine relationship needs. |
